About us Our people Staff Becky Higgins Becky joined INQUEST in October 2021 as a caseworker. She has a background in supporting LGBT+ victims and survivors of hate crime and institutional discrimination. As a trained advocate, Becky's career history has also included helping people to know and understand their rights in relation to the NHS and health services. She has also worked with refugees and people seeking asylum, and co-founded a youth support group for refugees under the age of 18 in her hometown of Northamptonshire. Becky has a background in supporting people who are often marginalised by systemic discrimination to have their voices heard, and currently also practices social documentary filmmaking, with a focus on public health and trauma informed storytelling.
