INQUEST will be holding a press briefing outside New Scotland Yard at 10.45am on Tuesday 27 April 2010 following the publication by the Metropolitan Police (MPS) of the Cass Report into the death of Blair Peach in 1979 and the MPS’ own briefing due to take place earlier the same day at 10am.

Taking part will be Blair Peach’s partner Celia Stubbs, her solicitor Raju Bhatt of Bhatt Murphy and Co-Director of INQUEST, Deborah Coles. A further press statement will be issued by INQUEST on Tuesday 27 April, and no comments will be made in advance of the press briefing.

The MPS have stated that the press will be allowed to see a preview of the Cass Report at 9am and it will then be available on the MPS website.
