Inquest are one of the many organisations working towards the end of state violence. They are doing very challenging work alongside bereaved families to fight for justice and lasting change. Their policy demands include a halt to prison expansion, including an end to immigration detention, and developing well funded alternatives to policing. The work they do is essential, especially for those at the sharp end of state violence - racialised people, learning disabled PoC, refugees, women who've experienced domestic violence, and our street homeless population, among many many others.
