The Purpose of the Role

The Casework Team provides specialist casework advice and support to bereaved families and individuals following a contentious death in statutory settings or through multi agency failings requiring an inquest and investigation. The team is made up of 5 Caseworkers, the Grenfell Project Coordinator, and 2 Casework Assistants.

Due to current capacity issues, we are seeking to recruit an interim Caseworker. The successful candidate will have experience of advice provision relating to inquests and related investigations, possess outstanding communication and organisational skills and will enjoy working in a very fast paced environment. S/he will adhere to INQUEST’s values, not least equality and diversity and our commitment to tackle racism and discrimination.
