As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, investigations and inquests are currently subject to disruption and delay. Families who have concerns or questions about what this means for them should speak to their lawyer or caseworker. CASEWORK SERVICE CLOSURE Regrettably the casework advice service is closed to new enquiries from Monday 26 July for an initial period of 4 weeks. This is due to the high demands on the service and limited caseworker capacity. Please refer to our Factsheets and Handbook which may answer your questions. The handbook section on other sources of support may also be helpful. We can direct you to members of our specialist INQUEST Lawyers Group members, particularly if you have an upcoming hearing date or urgent deadline.
