Our casework advice service is closed to new enquiries from Friday 23 February until Monday 4 March. 

If you have an existing case with INQUEST, please contact your caseworker directly.

  • option 1 for new enquiries – open Tuesday and Thursday (10am - 1pm, 2-3.30pm) 
  • option 2 if you have a caseworker 

We aim to respond to each enquiry as soon as possible. Due to the high number of enquiries, there may be a short delay in responding.

If you are a journalist or researcher 

We welcome enquiries from print and broadcast journalists, researchers and producers. We would ask that you do as much research as possible on our website before contacting us with a specific query or interview request

As a small team we are unable to respond to all requests, and may take time to respond, particularly to requests for detailed information. If you are contacting us to reach families please bear in mind that we will need time to approach and support them to engage meaningfully with media work.
